Huntsmere upbeat

Despite continued concerns over the state of the housing market, Alderley Edge based property developer, Huntsmere, is upbeat about the year ahead. The company, which is owned and run by Chris Oakes, has this week unveiled its latest portfolio - a pipeline of 15 luxury homes worth a total of 61.75 million pounds.

The luxury developer is currently on site building five luxury homes with a total end value of 19.75 million pounds and is commencing work on a further five properties in 2011 worth 23 million pounds. The company has also lined up sites for a further four properties worth 19 million.

Huntsmere has developed a reputation for building luxury mansions over the past four years and has a strong client base of sports personalities and successful business people. Of the properties currently under construction half are private commission projects, built to a client’s exact specifications, with the balance being speculative builds.

To date the developer has focused on the villages of Alderley Edge, Mottram and Prestbury where Chris has been successful in identifying some of the most stunning plots, fit for mansions ranging in size from 5,200 sq feet up to a massive 10,000 square feet. Next year will see Huntsmere developing their first properties in Wilmslow, Mere and Caldy on the Wirral.
