Prestbury

Prestbury is a picturesque village dating back to 1220 when it was founded by priests and from where it takes its name. The village itself is a frequent winner of Best Kept Village competitions.

The main street features a number of bars, restaurants and amenities such as grocery stores and newsagents. Other amenities such as supermarkets and sporting facilities including an eighteen hole championship golf course are only minutes away by car.

First class state and private schools can be found in the immediate area, from junior, to preparatory and on to secondary level.

As with many of the local villages and towns in this area, Prestbury enjoys a secluded and peaceful rural location but has easy access to the motorway and rail networks, and both Manchester city centre and the airport are easily commutable.
